~Continuing News~

Stedman Partners in Education (PiE) is a team of parents, teachers, administrators and community members working together to support the students and staff of Stedman Elementary school through fundraisers and volunteerism. Please join us for our next meeting on Thursday, November 10th 4pm in the Stedman Library.

We have royal blue Stedman gear for sale! A variety of sizes in youth tees and hoodies, plus some adult-size hoodies. Stop by the office and pick one up during the week!

~News From Stedman Elementary Library~

Mrs. Lenhard, our Stedman librarian, is seeing all grade levels twice a week, once for library skills and once for technology skills. We have learned about book care, parts of a book, the online library catalog Destiny, and how to locate a book by its call number.  In technology class, we have practiced using the Epic online reading platform (grades 1-5) and worked on typing skills (grades 3-5).   Students can generally have the same number of books as their grade level checked out at one time, and books can be kept for up to 2 weeks.  Once a student is finished with a book, be sure to return it so the next person can check it out.  Happy reading!  Stedman Library Website: https://sites.google.com/pcsd....

~News From the Counselor~

Newsletter from our Counselor. Mrs. Etcher works with all grades on social emotional skills, and she would like to share a monthly newsletter with families. The idea is to keep everyone updated on lessons she is teaching each month.

~Safety Information~

Important safety information: When dropping students off at the playground end, please note that there is a designated drop-off area marked by the side of the playground fence and green cones. Vehicles enter the area following the arrows and drop off students between the cones and the fence. Students go directly to either the cafeteria for breakfast or one of the two front entrances. Vehicles immediately drive through and exit, alleviating congestion and keeping the area safe. If you wish to escort your child or wait and watch your child enter the school, you will need to find a parking spot. Thank you for helping us keep all students safe.

~Happy Birthday to Who?~
