All Veterans and their families are invited to participate in the School District's Veterans Day Parade on Friday, Nov. 10 at 9:30 am. Line up begins at 9:15 on the corner of 5th and Dolphin by the Children's Center. Veterans will drive/ride in their cars down Dolphin Street past students, staff, and community members. Quilts of Valor will be handed out and the Middle/High School Bands will be playing. All are welcome! If any veterans or family members need a ride, please call the District Office at 877-526-7656 for a ride on the Viking Bus.

This year's International ShakeOut Day is October 19, when millions of people worldwide will participate in earthquake drills at work, school, or home!
At 10:19 am (local time) on 10/19, you can join people across Alaska practicing earthquake safety. All Petersburg schools will be participating in the drill and heads up - the PVFD will be setting off the local earthquake/tsunami alarm at that time.
